Communists selling cigars

He says Cuba
Like it rhymes with scuba
Is India a communist country? he asks.
His accent is hard to follow
So I laugh and say, yes it is.
I have no idea what he just asked.
His surprise takes me by surprise.
A few minutes later I laugh
India is not communist.
I want to sell cigars
Take my number, he says.
I step out of the car
pretending not to hear that.
